Fibres we use are organically developed or naturally available - most fibres are certified, a few fibres we use:
Organic cotton
Organic cotton is cotton grown without using fungicides, insecticides, pesticides, synthetic fertilizers or genetically modified seeds. This production system replenishes and maintains soil fertility and help build biologically diverse agriculture. The production of Organic cotton is certified by international bodies that subscribe to GOTS standards
Bamboo
Bamboo yarn is created from the bamboo plant. Recent technologies has allowed cellulose processed from bamboo to be spun into yarn and therefore Bamboo is a regenerated cellulose fibre. The fibre has Anti-microbial and Thermo Regulation properties.
Lyocell
Lyocell is a cellulose fiber made from wood pulp cellulose. Lyocell is strong, more durable, and in many cases machine washable. It has a subtle luster and is rich in color. Lyocell possesses low shrinkage characteristics, as well as good absorbency and wrinkle resistant qualities
Modal
Modal is a cellulose fiber made by spinning reconstituted cellulose from beech trees. It is about 50% more hygroscopic, per unit volume than cotton. It is designed to dye just like cotton, and is color-fast when washed in warm water. Textiles made from Modal are resistant to shrinkage and fading and are smooth and soft
Jute
Jute is one of the cheapest natural fibres and is second only to cotton in amount produced and variety of uses. Jute is a a ligno-cellulosic fibre that is partially a textile fibre and partially wood. Jute fibre is 100% bio-degradable and recyclable and environmentally friendly
